Weather Foreseer

Weather Foreseer is a powerful widget that Interprets weather forecasts & predictions to enjoy your day and avoid hazards like heat stroke, sunburn, dust storms, frostbite, hypothermia, morning delays, travel hazards, safety, air quality pollution and many other conditions.

This widget will maximize your home screen to the extent that will enable you to view and monitor many weather parameters at the same time. Also, you will be able to monitor 20 weather stations around your location with near live METAR Aviation data. This will help you to asses any weather condition or situation before it reaches your location. Moreover, Aerosol dust forecasts will maximize your awareness of your surroundings to take any necessary step to increase your safety.

Weather Foreseer will interpret atmosphere severe conditions that leads to many risks and present information that helps you in taking the right action. For example, when reading the UV index and getting a value of 3, you need to calculate your maximum sun exposure based on your skin type. Also, you need to consider your elevation and if you are near a reflective surface. Considering all these parameters might change the UV value to 5 or even more. Exposing yourself to high ultraviolet radiation leads to skin cancer, damaging your eyes and your immune system. There are many parameters that need to be calculated and connected with background knowledge to maximize your safety and enjoy your day.

This widget will interpret whether you need to take umbrella or not in a rainy day based on your leave and return time to your home. Also, it will predict if you need to wear heavy winter cloth based on the wind chill index and safety risks zones. When there is a possibility of a delay in the morning due to a weather condition, this widget will show an icon to be aware of the situations. For example, the delay icon will appear once there is a prediction of snow, fog, reduced visibility due to dust, freezing rain or any weather condition that could occur before leaving your home.

This widget also predicts the possibility of heat stroke when humidity and temperature or humidex reach certain point.

This widget is designed to maximize your screen and facilitates interaction. It does not take more than a glimpse to figure out if you need to take action. We are planning to add many features that helps in reducing risks that you might encounter. Some of these features might not be related to weather but they are related to your safety.

For example we added one feature that asses safety from social media (Twitter) and inform you with a summary about tweets that contain violence and crime language around a geographical boundaries you decide.

Weather Foreseer provides accurate weather forecasts (wind, humidity, heat, alerts) with analysis and recommendations of 3 days in the future beside normal 10 days forecast (hourly) of weather data like fog, wind speed and direction, pressure, temperature and weather conditions..

It also provides access to near real-time weather (METAR Aviation) at any time of the day.

This widget currently support English and Arabic.

Other languages will be added soon.

This widget utilizes MapQuest to display METAR data from the nearest 20 weather.
